Art Connections support and promote professional artists, and creative businesses based in York and North Yorkshire. This is a community website for use by artists and the general public.

The brief was to create a simple but attractive website. The design was intended to emphasise each artist’s work.

The geographical area Art Connections covers had poor broadband coverage, so the website needed to be quick to download. It has a content management system for Art Connections to update the web site. Each artist can also login to their own profile page to update their information and images.
