Illuminating York

Illuminating York festival is an annual event that has been running for five years. It is based in the heart of the city for both tourists and York’s residents who are invited to experience a number of interactive displays featuring cutting edge technology.

City of York Council chose to commission a website to promote the 2009 festival. The brief was to create a website that was user friendly, easy to navigate and would attract visitors of all ages. The aim of the website was to promote the festival and encourage those visiting the festival to stay in the city for the evening.
