Thin Martian are a web company based in east London. Through them I worked on projects for MSN. These projects included website banner ads, 'special pages' and working as part of a team on larger projects.
The illustrations to the left are a sample of many produced for MSN UK and MSN Europe. They were used to advertise generic events like, football, basket ball, formula1, spring, mothers day, fathers day etc. A web page for the full set of imagery was made available to download.
The 'special pages' and micro sites were created to promote specific events, such as the Brit Awards or the launch of a new film (Shrek). As well as promoting MSN's own services, like the Messenger special page "100 Best Internet Cafe's".
Banner's were created to advertise MSN's latest products or upgrades to current services. These would appear on the MSN website. Each set of banners were usually created in several different sizes to specific dimensions and file weight.
